Dorm Parents
Hebron School is an international and co-educational residential school that exists to provide an affordable education based on sound Christian principles. It is situated high in the Nilgiri Hills of southern India at an altitude of 2,200 metres in the Hill Station of Ooty, which enjoys a temperate climate. There are around 360 pupils aged 5 to 19 years who study according to the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level examinations. Pupils currently represent 29 nationalities and the teaching staff comes from many nations as well.
Dorm Parents are generally drawn from the teaching staff.
Applicants will only be considered if they are committed, practising Christians and fluent in English. A university degree plus educational diploma/certificate is necessary, as is a willingness to participate fully in the life of a busy boarding school - including extra-curricular activities and dorm support or parenting.

Special Needs Assistant
This organization does development work in villages around the capital city. The work includes English teaching, handcraft/local skills coaching, agricultural assistance, and work with children and youth.
The Special Needs Assistant would work with disabled people in rural settings, assisting and demonstrating professional skills as part of ongoing special needs and community-based rehabilitation programs.
A basic to moderate level of Arabic is essential as well as good people skills and a willingness to be trained and to train others in various aspects of the disability field.

ESL Teacher
This private English Centre serves the capital and adjacent city.
TESL instructors are being sought who are able to teach on multiple levels and train local teachers. The job requires individuals who could help set up an English teacher-training centre to qualify people with an internationally accepted English teaching certificate.
Applicants must have TESL certification.

Student Workers
In a land where education is highly prized, we see the need for people to be placed on university and college campuses in the larger cities around this country where they can interact with the huge numbers of students and can influence the leaders of tomorrow.
This could be done as lecturers/teachers, or friends who open their homes to students, or as chaplains or Bible Study leaders.
Individuals who love young people and are able to interact with students of all backgrounds are welcome.
